1. Purpose and nature of the service
TopPalomas is a private intermediation platform for auctions and sales of racing pigeons. The service connects registered buyers and sellers, but it is not a party to any transaction and does not act as a seller. Access to the platform is free of charge.
2. Registration and validation
Anyone over 18 years of age may create an account. In order to bid, sell or auction pigeons, your account must first be validated by the administrators. TopPalomas reserves the right to deny or revoke access to any user without the need to provide justification.
3. Bids and purchases
Every bid placed is binding and constitutes a firm offer to purchase. The user with the highest bid at the close of the auction is obliged to complete the purchase on the terms agreed with the seller. In the case of a direct sale, the purchase is concluded at the moment it is confirmed.
4. Payments between users
TopPalomas does not manage or process payments. Financial agreements, payment methods and delivery conditions are established directly between buyer and seller. The platform may act as a mediator in the event of a dispute, but it accepts no responsibility for the outcome of transactions.
5. User obligations
The user undertakes to provide truthful information, not to place bids with the intention of not paying, not to list pigeons that do not belong to them, and to comply with the regulations in force on the keeping and transport of animals. Each user is responsible for meeting their tax obligations arising from sales made through the platform.
6. Limitation of liability
TopPalomas does not guarantee the accuracy of the descriptions published by users or the condition of the animals. The platform is not responsible for breaches between buyer and seller, for the quality of the animals, or for damage arising from transport. Use of the platform is at the user's own risk.
7. Changes to the terms
TopPalomas may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated by email at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after that period implies acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing law and contact
